Fire Grill 231 in Arab

There were 6 of us adults and we each really loved our meals. Each of us ordered something different and they were all DELICIOUS! The service was fabulous as well. This is now a family favorite of ours.

The food was great. The prices were reasonable for the type and quality of the food. The service was pretty good but the wait for out food was very long. We were there for at least 45 minutes after ordering before or food came out.

GREAT FOOD! Good service. My only gripe is that the restaurant is very dark inside. Like hard to read the menus dark. Even during the day.

Excellent food and large portions. Always fresh. I also like that the specials change so can get something different every time.

When it changed owners, the prices went up. The portions went down. Their fabulous previous weekly lunch menu was changed from you picking what you wanted from a selection to being what they picked. Plus the quality went down. Haven't eaten there in over a year

Great food and service

We had a big group and they got us seated and serves quickly. The prices were good and everyone enjoyed their food. Will definitely go back!

Have never been here, so I can't give an accurate rating. But judging by the many really bad reviews and the fact that out of 42 reviews, only one 5star review was responded to, I really doubt I will be going!!

Was surprised by all the different options for lunch. But the sweet tea tasted like brown water. So bad I asked for coke so I could enjoy my food.

Love this place! We are a family of 4 and can eat quite cheaply. And lots of food! Service is always great!

Good Food but Slow. Been there 3 times now and it takes about 20 minutes to get food. UPDATE: Had lunch and it took only 15 minutes to get bread no butter had to ask... Finally the meal came still no butter... Had to ask for silverware.Sweet tea was never refilled.3 families total in the entire building. Total of 11 people to be served. Shocking. The waitress was nice when she was there. 3 times during an hour at which point the last 15 minutes we had food to eat. We tipped 7 dollars because I don't want my food spit in if we ever come back

Small town restaurant with upscale food menu, the grilled salmon with veggies beats any other Huntsville restaurant I've tried. Enough for 2 meals and veggies plentiful cooked tender not overcooked, try adding lemon - delicious!!

Horrible steak and super slow service

We waited 10 minutes before a server came to get our drink order. The hostess did not give us a menu so we had to ask for one. The server stated they ran out and he would have to find us one. It took another 10 minutes for him to come back with our drinks. He slammed the drinks down and took off before we could order an appetizer. He came back about five minutes later and asked if we were ready to order. He was not friendly at all and service was extremely slow throughout our meal. The food was okay, but I probably will not be back based on the service.

The restaurant missed the mark repeatedly. We started off with drink orders and had to wait for them to brew the tea, because "someone used it all and didn't start any more". Then the salads came and the lettuce in some was rotten... then came the entrees. The fries were under cooked, the Prime Rib was cooked well done and not medium and the two dishes of pasta had so much red pepper or similar in them that my wife and daughter's lips were burning and the could not eat the food. The restaurant apologized about the experience and discounted the meal 20%. It was by far the worst dining experience that I have had in years.

We eat here every chance we can. The food is always great regardless of what you order, and the portions are huge. We love this restaurant and highly recommend it.

Food was good and the service was excellent. But the dining room is so big there is a lot of empty space without decor .

I liked the fries alot, when i was there (monday 12pm), we were the only people there, the people working there were really helpful. The only thing is that if you order your burger medium rare, its practically mooing when you get it, so i would get it medium instead

It was our 2nd time there. It was pretty good. It was better the 1st time we went though. The 1st it was through the roof phenomenal! This time, it was just ok. We'll definitely be back.

We're tried this place for the first time last night and it's not that high on my list of favorites. Brittany did well as a server; we didn't lack anything. The food didn't take too long and the prices were fair. I ordered the 231 Philly Steak sandwich with onion rings. The sandwich was delicious but the onion rings were average at best. My husband ordered the Prime Rib, at the server's suggestion, because he loves tender, juicy steak and it was the special. It was severely disappointing. When our Grandchildren arrived unexpectedly were ordered a grilled cheese and fries for them to split and it was terrible. The cheese was not even close to melted but fries are fries and difficult to really ruin. We may try it again but I cannot say I recommend it after or first impression.

I had the ribeye sandwich and my husband had spaghetti. Both were delicious. Our service was adequate. The manager came by to check on us. The price was just right.

This has become a regular stop for my family. Everything that we have tried on the menu has been wonderful! The wait staff is on it's toes; always friendly and quick with the refills, which is a deal-breaker in my household! Really good restaurants have a difficult time lasting very long in this area, but we really hope that Fire Grill 231 is here to stay.

Went here approximately a year ago and was not happy with any aspect of the experience. Decided to try again tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Food was great, wait staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

It was girls night out for my daughter in laws birthday! Food and the little girl server were the best!

A family of six before we even made it to the car all 6 yep good thing we only live 5minutes away and have 3 bathrooms my step daughter on way home we hit a bump in the road and from the backseat yells i think i just fire grilled my pants !!! Food taste great but for the money dosnt stay in you that long!!!!

The food and staff at this place are excellent. The lunch menu prices were more than fair with the portions you get. I ordered my burger medium, and they did it perfectly! The onion rings were pretty standard fare. The wings were giant and the BBQ sauce was tasty. The decor could use a little sprucing in the dining room, but it's a minor gripe. I'm looking forward to coming again and trying something else.

I enjoyed a ribeye steak here. It was delightful. I asked for medium rare, I got medium rare. The flavor of the sear was delicious. It was so good, that I went back the next weekend ordered it again, sure that they could not repeat the feat. I was wrong, the 2nd steak was as good as the 1st. I tried the lasagna, a weekend special. It was also very good. Because I like to try new things, I tried an appetizer called "Fire Balls." These are balls of cheeses mixed with a spicy sausage, rolled in Panko and then deep-fried. Once again, delicious. Contrary to the name, they do have a bit of an after burn. I highly recommend the Fire Grill.

I never give bad reviews, and I may eventually go back and give them another chance because of circumstances. We went on Mother's Day, which was super busy when we arrived, but we had reservations at 130. We were finally seated around 215, and at 330 we still didn't have our food. What made it worse was that so many smaller parties came, ate and left during our two hour stay. Our whole family has to leave and go to different places to eat because we were starving. The manager did not seem overly concerned with the situation and the waitresses spent more time rolling silverware than waiting on us. It was a horrible experience that my sister spent the whole day apologizing for because it was her idea to take our family there for Mother's Day.

Pretty good I'd say.. Try the Rosemary chicken.. Really good..My daughter got the spaghetti if there kids meal, an actual Bolognese sauce and not some stuff out of a Ragu jar! I'm impressed!

The food and service was excellent . Will come back. I had the grilled salmon and oh my was it good. Husband had catfish it was also very good.

Great food and service! Hope everyone visits often so it will stay open. Best restaurant to Arab in a very long time. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and cooked perfectly. If the ambience was better it could be considered fine dining for Arab.

Love this place! Food is awesome in every way! Huge portions, great bar, great service and atmosphere. Chicken Parmesan is one of mine and my husband's personal favorites. You best go when you are really hungry we can share it and still leave with a take out box! Burgers, fries, steaks, onion rings, seafood... They have SO MANY CHOICES! Lunch specials too.
